I can’t wait for my new calendar to arrive!
I know a statement like that has “NERD” written all over it, but it’s OK. I am embracing my inner nerd and confessing to all that I love paper calendars, notebooks, school supplies, and everything else nerdy that you can think of.
You know what else? I’ll bet you’re like that too. I know there are a few members of my family that confess to this trait, as well. Even if they don’t say it aloud, they show it by their actions.
You know who you are.
I’ve tried many different kinds and styles but haven’t found the perfect, keep-me-on-track and keep-my-counter-clean system yet. So, the quest for the perfect calendar continues. I’m so optimistic that I think my new one might be it! I’ll let you know. It is called The BusyBodyBook, and I ordered it from www.busybodybook.com. It looks pretty groovy on the outside, but I really like the setup on the pages. Take a look.
Embrace your inner nerd. It’s a beautiful thing!

(This is only a partial picture…I’m still learning this website stuff, and apparently I have a lot to learn.)

Too funny! I am also always on a quest for the holy grail of calendars. I thought I had settled on one, but it hasn’t been working too well so far this school year! Now that I see yours….hmmmmm.
I TOTALLY just downloaded some free sample pages from busybodybook to use in September & October. I’ve really struggled with a daily calendar – weekly calendar – monthly calendar – I’m trying a couple of new ones – but am using the downloads for September to see how they work! Congratulations. I love being a “NERD” right along with you!
I also love a good paper calendar w/squares large enough for me to write appts and see the whole month at a glance! Although that does have it’s downfall cause then I see just how many days I HAVE appts…..gets depressing!
Hi! I found you through the Home Sanctuary coffee link.
I am a calendar nerd too!
I’ll have to check out the link you posted. Thanks for sharing it!
Thanks for the note, Desiree! I really like the calendars that begin in August. That seems to be when the REAL year begins.
Marie, you might like the FamilyTime Mine calendars. They are a nice size, show the whole month, and also have a breakdown for more detailed weekly planning. I always added divider tabs to go quickly to the month I wanted. It’s a great calendar. I just needed one that helps track my kids (and hubby–and me!)
Hope your appointments become fewer and fewer!
Thanks for the note, Debbie! So far, this calendar is working well for me (and my family). It’s great to have a different column for each person, yet I can see where everyone is (or should be!) at once.
